FanDuel partners with SportCaller for March Madness

SportCaller, the free-to-play sports game provider, has announced a partnership with US operator FanDuel.

As part of the deal, SportCaller will release a series of games on its light-to-deploy platform across major US sports, beginning with basketball and the NCAA’s March Madness.

FanDuel was acquired by Paddy Power Betfair in May 2018 and SportCaller already had an agreement in place with its parent group.

The new free-to-play March Madness game aligns with FanDuel’s plans to bring its customers games with a jackpot-based format; the operator says these are aimed at increasing player engagement across all platforms and devices.

Lorcan Kelly, VP of sportsbook product at FanDuel, said: "SportCaller has been a good partner for the Paddy Power Betfair Group and we’ve enjoyed teaming up with them on March Madness – its huge popularity will naturally prove a solid acquisitions driver.

SportCaller MD Cillian Barry added: "Having collaborated so successfully with Paddy Power Betfair over the past few years, it’s a real fillip for FanDuel to have chosen SportCaller as its partner in unlocking perhaps the most significant market of all."
